Texas Style
At Rising Star Vineyards, we blend the best of the Old World and the New - we grow eight of the finest Old World varietals and make wines in a true Texas style. We Texans have a special attitude and an independent spirit, which we bring to our wine making, so you'll find both traditional and unique wines made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Barbera, Chardonnay, Muscat, Zinfandel and Chenin Blanc.
Two Tasting Rooms!
Our tasting room in Salado is open Tuesday through Sunday at 110 North Main, in the very center of the Village and includes our new Texas Cheesery. The Cheesery is open seven days a week from 11 - 6 and serves lunches until 3pm.
Our tasting room at the vineyard in Rising Star has a new schedule through the month of February and will be open only on Saturday from 11 to 6 and Sunday from noon to 4pm, with the exception of our WOW Road Trip weekend, when we will be open on Friday, Feb. 10.

Many of your favorites are getting in VERY short supply! Stop by the winery now and stock up on Sunset, Rustler's Red, and White Merlot. Even the Reserve Cab is starting to disappear! The good news is that we've got Chardonnay back in the tasting room and some wonderful new wines just around the corner. Come get 'em!
